2009 Ford Flex Limited: Rain Patterns

For now the rain is gone, and Blue Wave car wash is running double staff to satisfy the increase in demand. Before I washed the Flex, I found a couple interesting rain patterns that had been left behind.

The pattern on the tire is kinda cool. I can see hipsters buying tires with that pattern already on it.

It's my idea! The rest of you back off! Gonna make me millions.

Will this serve as the impetus for the Flex getting a flame job on the front end?

I was just kidding but.......

If it is going to stick around 'til 100K.......it might be cool to mod it, no? Give the Flex a little SoCal/Hot Rod/Foose-onian/modern day Nomad treatment of some kind. Or would that just be dorky?

yeah... and a quote from the Chief Road Test Editor, "Before I washed the Flex, I found a couple interesting rain patterns that had been left behind."

So what's so special about it? That you would only see it on the Flex but not the others?

rick8365 brings up a good point maybe some engine mods would be cold to see.
Examples:

Exhaust http://www.autoanything.com/exhausts-mufflers/73A3570A0A0A3075041.aspx

The madness could be endless.

It's California, they are amazed at any weather other than sunny skies.

Hey Alman08 reading this blog is optional......do you have to troll every thread? If you dont like the thread then dont read it.

Well So Cal anyway.....up here in the Northern part we are quite used to the rain. :)

And I might add, it's free.

Imagine the rain patterns if you had been driving in reverse the whole time.

I really didn't like the Flex when it first came out. I even remember saying to myself 'What the hell is Ford thinking" but after reading about it here and looking at them on the road and occasionally sneaking a peek at one parked in a parking lot, I admit I was wrong. It seems like they hit on something here, I think I would really consider one if I were looking for that kind of vehicle, regardless of the what rain patterns it generates.
