I don't know why I've never used this feature before. You know how I'm always going on about heated seats. Well, our Dodge Ram has a heated steering wheel. This is nothing new, I know. I've just never tried it before. I thought it was kind of silly in Southern California, the way some of you think we're silly for using seat heaters so often.
But OMG!
It's sooo nice. It gets really warm but not too warm. So cozy. Oh no, I'm at work already? But I don't want to let go. I think I'll drive around the block. Tee hee.
Now all I need is a heated cupholder for my coffee.

I've decided it's a safety feature of my Jag. It automatically comes on with the seat heaters in that car, and nothing makes me keep both hands on the wheel so well.

I have one of these in my car, and I have to admit it is WONDERFUL! I used to have driving gloves in my last car because the steering wheel was always so cold and it took ages to warm it up using body heat.

Donna, I think you need an intervention! You're addicted to this stuff. If you had a heated toilet seat I don't think you'd come to work.
Seriously though, a heated steering wheel sounds nice. I sometimes think a heated keyboard would be good at my permanently below-zero office.

Heated steering wheel is the only thing I wish my current wonderful car has, oh and I wish the rear side curtain are power operated, they are manually operated right now and is kinda ghetto.

And a heated desk chair, and a heated couch, and a heated mouse pad, and ...

I guess I just don't see how this is really that earth shatteringly good.
Now I know what it feels like to get old...

Heated steering wheels are wonderful.
My dad's '05 Maxima had one. We live in Arkansas where it "occasionally" likes to get down to 15-20 degrees overnight during the late winter. While that's nothing to a lot of you northerners (crazies... :)), a heated steering wheel made morning driving a lot more tolerable on the times I drove it.

It's amazing that a pickup truck has this feature. The new Ram has truly blended a truck with a luxury car interior.

According to Howie this is too unmanly to be implemented in a Chevy
