Random Poll: Weird Stuff

freeway-1600.jpg

People do some strange things in their cars while they are driving.

I've witnessed drivers eating spaghetti, a bowl of cereal, putting on mascara. One time Mike Schmidt saw a man building a model airplane while driving on the freeway. Mike Magrath spotted a guy playing the trumpet.

I usually sing while I'm driving, I mean full-out belting. Sometimes, I don't realize I'm making that singing face and I find people looking at me strangely. But I'm still paying attention to what I'm doing and I don't take my hands off the wheel.

What is the weirdest thing you've seen people do while driving?

A guy in a Saturn Ion with Turrets (or ticks of some sort), smoking, and talking on the phone while trying to drive.

I used to see this one guy every morning reading a newspaper while driving on a 6 lane freeway at 55mph+

I saw a couple one night at a red light doing... what usually happens in the back seat of a parked car. This was at 2am one morning on Soundview Avenue in the Bronx, NY. You know who you are!!

I've seen a good number of well dressed adults driving in cars actually speaking positively of liberals, and doing so in broad daylight. Ha ha. You get my point so there.

Not the driver but the car. It was a white Honda Del Sol with a full size R2-D2 droid in the back that would beep and boop and swivel its head just like the "real" thing. The car also had a blaster cannon hanging off the passenger door. The steering wheel was a flight yoke. Last seen a few years ago around LAX. Anyone seen it before?

I've seen a guy driving down a busy highway with a mattress on top of his car, which was lifting up at the front, so he was trying to hang on to it while yapping to the passenger.

I also saw someone with an Audi A4 Cabriolet with a medium-sized Christmas tree strapped to the soft-top.

The other day I noticed the man driving the the car next to me was tweezing his neck hairs.

Freaking L.A.

brdmn: Can't we can keep politics out of fun discussions like this? Please?

I was driving to school four years ago and I was following a guy in an early 90's Honda Civic puttin in his eyedrops. After the second eye got its Visine, he looked down, realized he was going to slam into the car in front of him, and slammed on his brakes, screeching to a halt.

I bet he never did THAT again.

When I was in high school on a bus field trip on the LIE going into NYC, there was some dirt-bag masturbating in his car. My teacher freaked out and someone threw something at his car. It was so disgusting. Some people are just morons.

I just realized: In this pic you guys are willing to blur the license plates, but in most of the other posts on this site you leave them uncensored.

First things first, I live in New Jersey. I have seen someone either registering a check, or balancing their checkbook. Seen multiple people shaving. Ditto for reading. And not just newspapers-- books, and magazines.

I have seen someone driving with their GPS mounted in the handheld position, and also seen one Dbag with a laptop up on the dashboard of a minivan.

Welcome to the US---the land of multitaskers. LOL. When will people realize that the only thing you should be doing while driving is driving....

Applying makeup, reading (books and newspapers), shaving. But all the shavers I've seen are wusses, using namby pamby electric razors. Now, someone using a straight blade, that would impress me.

Besides all the nose-pickers, the people having various sexual relations and the people reading and applying makeup, I haven't really seen too much crazy stuff on the road. No, not at all.
I have seen that R2D2 DelSol as well.

I'm a singer, too. When I notice people watching me I just sing louder. I guess it's a little weird with the top down...

That wouldn't happen to have been in Denver would it? That may have been me...

I've seen: People doing coke at a stoplight, a girl giving a guy the bobby jones in a Jetta, some guy in a Subaru doing bong hits at a stoplight...

i had a friend that used to do his math homework while on his way to school, he lived about 30 minutes away. he would have his text book in his lap, his notepad on the steering wheel, and the calculator was perched on his left knee and the door. i know that on multiple occasions he would also have to use his phone and call for help.

i have also seen a guy driving with both feet hanging out of the sun roof while driving in the city and a corvette towing tandem jet skis.
