2010 Volvo XC60: See You Ladder Alligator

XC60-ladder-1.jpg

That is a six-foot ladder. It fit in our long-term 2010 Volvo XC60 very easily thanks to the SUVs unique flat-folding rear seat center section. With one hand it drops flat and allows you to carry long stuff and still seat four comfortably.

Very cool. More SUVs should have this feature instead of the more common 50/50 or 60/40 rear seat designs. This Volvo is really starting to win me over.

Pretty nifty. Especially if you have four people in your party and you need to bring something like that home without strapping the youngest one to your roof rack.

That's great for two kids fighting in the back! What better way to separate them than with a ladder=]

I always drive a ladder wherever I go too!
Wow! We're the few normal people!
You never know when you need to climb to the roof to retrieve a ball, or sneak in someone's window!

Why didn't anyone do this sooner? Pretty darn good idea.

@subaru123:

I see what you did there ;)

It's not really a new idea. Couple of Toyota/Honda's have this. And a pass-through option also exists for quite a while.

Guessing that you won't find in all SUV's is middle seat comfort? Not sure.
