2010 Chevy Camaro SS: Heated Seats Are Good

Camaro-Heated-Seat.jpg

Recently, one of you guys asked for a review of our Camaro's heated seats. Well here it is. Don't ever say I don't come through for ya

The Camaro's two-level heated seats are very good. They warm up quickly, deliver even heat throughout the seatback and bottom cushions and are powerful enough when on "high" to force me into the sweats on a 55 degree evening. Usually after five minutes or so I have found myself backing the heat off to the "Low" setting and leaving it there for the duration of the trip.

In truly cold climates I think the Camaro's seat heaters have the power to satisfy the butt warming needs of most consumers. Even on Thanksgiving.

Thank you Scott, just like I've asked!
Although last week, I bought the 1SS without the leather heated seats!!
Oh well...

I was born in Maryland, where it is kind of cold, but I now use heated seats in the Summer as well in Texas.

The best is heated seats, in a convertible with the top down at night. It is truly amazing.

heated seats rock, if i didn't need to clear the windows of condensation then i wont need the heater at all.

This might sound redundant, but.....a 55 degree evening?

The high here was 45 today, low was 17. That's why I love the 5 stage heated seats in our Forester.

You California people and your definition of "cold".....

What's the switch doing up there? Is the passenger's side not heated? Surely they're not both controlled by the same switch.

dg0472, the passenger's seat heater controls are on the other climate controll knob on the passenger side.

Ahh, makes sense. An unexpected but accessible location it'd seem.
