2009 Hyundai Genesis: Ocean View

Over the past few days I've been coming into the office really early and the sky was foggy. But today I left later and the sky was perfectly clear.

I thought I'd share my beautiful ocean view with you. I'm driving the comfy Hyundai Genesis with my '70s mix playing on my iPod, the A/C blowing cold, and of course, the seat heaters at full blast.

Thanks for the "date' cruise Donna. I am sitting on the east coast where it is rainy and cold. This brightened my day, I owe you some flowers!

So, it seems that you live in Manhattan Beach and work at the water garden, just like me. Wanna ride share? Especially when you have something really cool like the R8?

Yeah, I knew it was a long shot.

While I still wouldn't move to SoCal for any reason...some people would have to admit that despite all the horrible traffic, the state's financial problems, and many other things...a drive like this might...MIGHT...be worth the hassle. That said, I'd rather live in a mountainous region like the rockies or the smokies and enjoy some twisties with a super-handling car.

I can do a similar drive/commute on this right coast - very nice. I've driven that same stretch a couple of times when I was out there, good stuff, And like mentioned above, it definitely beats the heck out of the nor'easter we are having here right now. Thanks for the sunshine.

My only bone with the vid was the tunes....sorry, not feeling it. ELO?!?

How come you have a cold butt living in a warm sunny place like that?
U need to take care of that doing something else LOL

IL staffers just don't seem to have much to say about the Genesis. I guess in this class, that's a pretty strong endorsement.

What is with this California (or maybe just IL) trend of cranking the a/c while the seat heaters are on full?

I drive a subaru who's seat heaters don't get used until its below 50 outside, and NEVER would I think about using them with the a/c...slightly counter-intuitive Do we East Coast people just do things too logically?
