As Bryn mentioned, we were still waiting to get the go-ahead from our insurance carrier before repairing the rear bumper damage on our 2009 Dodge Ram. Not long after her post went up, we received the settlement check. And the repairs were completed just as quickly.
Within 2 days the new bumper was ordered, shipped and installed. The at-fault driver's insurance company picked up the $637.43 tab.
Days out of service: 2
Total Cost: None

So you did get hit. Why was none of this mentioned in the original post?

Edmunds staff,
Why no mention of the Rambox damage? Was that ever repaired?

With the Rambox if it was repaired I expect the use of Duct Tape somewhere.

Actually, Bryn didn't know that I was rear-ended in the Ram while stopped at a red light. We haven't mentioned it yet because we haven't sorted things out with the insurance companies yet. More info when we have it. -- Donna

I was on my way home from work this morning (rotten cold so I went home) and in my rear mirror was a new Silverado.....the wide grill was so incredibly ugly! When I saw this pic of the Ram, the difference really stood out. Chevy fugly....Ram purdy.
