2009 BMW 750i: Ate My Skirt

2009_bmw_7-series_seat_717.jpg

See that front piece on the seat in the BMW 750i? It's power-adjustable to accommodate long and short legs.

When I took over the car from Scott the other night, I needed to adjust the seat for comfort. His legs are longer than mine.

As I pushed the button to close up the front of the seat, it started to swallow up the material of my skirt. Oops!

I wonder if the rest of the IL crew has ever had that problem. Probably not.

"Now you, too, can reinterpret Britney Spears' crotch shot with the new BMW 7-Series!"

That interior looks insanely ugly-

sloppy, lazy, and ugly.

The dash looks like it looked cool in concept sketches, but as the cut lines and molding constraints of reality set in in looked like the designers were left squishing play-doh.

If it wasn't for the Honda Fit, I'd say this is the worst interior of your long term fleet by far.

Come to think of it, look at where the glove box is- i'm hard pressed to find ANY not made by Chrysler with assembly so bad. A Honda Accord has better assembly (and looks better, too.)

No wonder BMW's sales are in the toilet this month.

Donna, to echo the others, a much shorter skirt is obviously the appropriate attire when driving this vehicle.

Good lord people...

So the skirt got caught so what just throw on a pair of jeans and be done with it.

Bimmerjay, you arrive at wrong conclusions. A much shorter skirt is obviously the appropriate attire at ALL times. Even better yet, No skirt (or jeans) is obviously the appropriate attire when driving this vehicle.

I am not sure the interior is ugly, but it sure does not look like it is worth $90,000. I like the tan color and real wood trim but the design in nothing special.

"Sounds like a perfect date car."

Come to think of it, if you were driving you could use the Gentleman's function to "adjust" your date's skirt.

I much prefer the full cushion extending, like on a Mercedes. But then how can the car rip off your skirt, and where would you store your loose M&M's?

estreka says:

I'm glad it didn't snag Scott's skirt. ;-P
