2009 Nissan GT-R: Highest Mileage GT-R in the Country?

Milestone Banner 71730K-miles-odometer.jpg

Our GT-R cranked through 30,000 miles on my commute home last Thursday night and this milestone got me thinking...

We've had this car since July of last year and it's been driven every day it wasn't being serviced. This could be the highest mileage GT-R in the country -- if not in the world. Do you know of one with more miles?

A quick check of cars.com shows 80 used GT-Rs for sale in America, with the highest mileage being 15,980. Autotrader.com shows the highest mileage GT-R for sale at 22,500 miles. I'm sure that there are several on the road that have already crested 30k miles as well, but as far as used cars for sale are concerned, yours is definitely the highest (and, since it's an Edmunds car, definitely worth the least!) :-P

30,000 miles for a near supercar has to be like 150,000 for a car and 250,000+ for a truck in terms of age.

Probably highest in the world. People in other countries don't drive as much as we do.

If there is one anywhere, I'm guessing in Dubai.

I haven't even seen any in Florida.

I've been driving for a little over 6 years, and I've only driven TWICE that amount. I did 37k in one car (over four years) and 24k in my current car (over the past two).

Jeez ... being a test driver sounds awesome, but that's A LOT of driving.

About the Datsun, I've only seen two GT-Rs, and one's currently on a dealers lot here in Boston.

@wasaabi92 Wow in the 3 years I have been driving I have put in ~50K on my truck 95% of it in city streets.

To the best of my knowledge their is 3 maybe 5 GTRs at a dealer here locally.

I guess I'm a road warrior. All in all I'm probably averaging about 25,000 miles a year since I started driving.

Those lights inside the tach...do they light up when approaching the redline? And what about the light at 3000 RPM?

I just picked up a car last weekend with 22,000. Put about 500 miles on it on the way back from Laguna Seca. One other car I know has upper 20's now.
