So this is what the back of our 2009 Mini E looked like after darkness terminated my Saturday golf match on the 15th hole. Two golfers and their bags? No problem. (The second bag is green -- you can see part of it behind the passenger headrest.) Rear visibility wasn't spectacular, but hey, it still beat the Camaro. You'll want headcovers on your woods, though; my passenger's unsheathed 3-wood rapped the rear side window every time we hit a bump.
The Mini E is like a golf cart in another interesting respect: it gets slower as the batteries run down. With a full charge, the Mini delivers a gut-displacing thwack of torque when you floor it at 40 mph -- but this morning, with 60 miles on the trip meter and a 25% charge, the same routine produced a significantly milder surge. I've heard that the same thing happens in the Tesla, which makes me wonder if that's just the way electric cars are going to be. Might not go over well with a driving public accustomed to having maximum performance available at all times.

When I saw the title the only thing I could think of was "GOLF CART FROM HELL!"
Beyond that I agree that the whole lack of full performance will get on peoples nerves at least those who spent most of their life's driving gassers and diesels.

As long as the course lets me drive it on the cart path.

2 golf bags? That's it? Paaaathetic! I passed one the bimmer 5 series because the trunk did not hold 3 golf bags and it was shaped funny.
This should be used as a golf cart. Hey it recharges too just like a golf cart! Hack off the roof and turn this thing into the ultimate golf cart. I finally see some potential for this.
