2009 Hyundai Genesis: Screen Saver

hyundai genesis screen ed.jpg

The layout of the Genesis' display screen has always struck me as being a bit counterintuitive, at least as far as it relates to the radio and HVAC.

Instead of having it be an afterthought at the bottom of the page, I'd rather have the song title be where the "Category" info currently is.

And I'd really like for there to be a full-screen display showing HVAC settings when the climate control is being adjusted. As it stands right now, all you get is is a narrow bar at the top of the screen (shown above) -- as it's presented, the info is kinda hard to read when you're driving.

But these are minor gripes concerning an otherwise pretty stellar car.

Yeah STP! But I wouldn't be blasting it in a Genesis.

Non-navigation equipped cars wouldn't have this problem. The hard part though is actually finding a non-navigation equipped Genesis. They are rarer than Deloreans.

@altimadude00

I have seen very few 3.8's with navigation. My local dealership only has navigation on the 4.6's right now. Personally, I am glad that I can find 3.8's without navigation since I have no interest in navigation and find the 4.6 to be complete overkill.

mikealtmyer--Over here in Florida, I think there's three 3.8s w/o nav from Tampa to Ft. Meyers. Then again, Hyundai dealers only have five or six Genesis of any model on their lots at any given time. I think you West Coasters are hogging them!
