Last week we were asked how much room was in the back of the Camaro. Last week I answered that question: Not much.
This week I thought you'd be interested to see how the Challenger fares.

Much better. If the Camaro fit .78 Riswicks, the Challenger accommodates .98 Riswicks. Legroom is better than the Chevy, but still not impressive (I still had to move the seat up). Head room is obviously way better since I can sit upright and don't look like I'm about to be executed. I'd say it's a bit better than the 135i.
As a bonus, the Challenger adds rear HVAC vents, a center armrest and a little light in the front seatback. There's also a seat belt for a middle passenger, but I'd hate to be that guy.

You still look unhappy and maybe ticked off in the photo. Haha! Thanks for the post.

The back seat looks small given the size of the car overall.

Just as I have foreseen.

Looks like the .02 Riswick that didn't fit was his patella. Ouch!
As a knobby-kneed beanpole type; I'd have to admit that if the patellae don't fit, up front you must sit.

Surprised to hear that this is only a "bit better" than the backseat in the 135i considering the massive difference in footprint. I suppose its a necessary sacrifice in the name of style though.

James, for the love of ___, please try an expression next time! :)

I like the real world back seat tests....keep them coming! What a better looking and well thought out interior than the Camaro. The more I look at both the more I like the "old school" Dodge.

I also like the fact that there are 3 belts in the back seat. Mom and Dad up front with the short people in the back. I did not like the Challenger much at first but it is really growing on me....especially compared with the Camaro.

Is there not a dome light over the back seats for the designers to include lights in the backs of the front seats (which is kind of a novel solution)?

Felonious, I'm pretty sure there was enough expression in this post to carry me through the next several...

I notice that the Challenger's posts seem to have gotten a lot more favorable since you guys got the Camaro. No one is making fun of its blocky proportions anymore, and even its tomb-like interior seems a little brighter than it was a few months ago. It makes me wonder what it will take to make you like the Camaro in turn. . .

I've never seen a light in a seat back before. That's a novel idea, and a nice touch.

Maybe if they buy a used long-term Yugo, then they will appreciate the Camaro.

The odd thing is I almost think the Edmunds would get a Yugo just to compare it with the Smart and Mini E.
And to JRiz yes your other post does make up for the recent lack of expression.

I can't help but think there's a more entertaining way to depict/measure back seat room.

Actually, one of the results of the recent G20 Summit was the adoption by all nations in attendance of the Riswick as the official unit of back seat room

The Challenger is full of neat little touches and Camaro tried way to hard to be different. I am amazed that the Dodge turned out as cool as it did considering the shape Chrysler was in when it was designed.

Surprised that you noticed the little lights on the back of the seats. It took me three months of ownership before I noticed them. Of course I've never been in the back seat.
The Dodge Challenger is a well engineered, well built, beautiful automobile. It's like Dodge said we're going to give the Mopar guys one last great muscle car and we're going to do it right. I've owned my R/T for almost six months now and every time I get in it, the joy of driving this car returns. There is just something very special about the car that I can't put my finger on.
I think you're feeling the same way James.

By the expression on my face, I don't know how you infer I'm feeling anything at all. I just might be an android.
