General Motors has issued a service bulletin for multiple fixes on 2010 Chevrolet Camaros. What could happen if your Camaro doesn't make it to the dealer soon?
The quick answers: Its rear spoiler could come loose. The HVAC system evaporator could freeze solid. And the engine harness could be rubbing against heater hose clamps.
The detailed answers: Here.
These aren't recalls yet. But still worth a look next time you're at the dealer. We will have these looked over when we take ours in to address an intermittent airbag service light.

I know I'm going to rile up 1487 with my comment today, but I gotta say this.
So, it hasn't been even 5k miles on this & there's already a CEL issue?? Why haven't we heard about it yet? How long has it been going on?
Is IL censoring this CEL issue to make GM look good?

^^ Correction. Not a CEL, but an AIRBAG issue. (Which is even more serious because it is a safety issue).

Poor Camaro can't catch a break. First wrong steering wheel, and now Car of the Week only to get a Service Bulletin issued the same week. Its almost enough to take the adult beverage of the rear fender and take a drink if you are a Camaro fan.

@jeepsrt,
Ah, they did mention it!
I was just trying to make the evening a little more exciting for us fanboys to debate ;)

Yep, I'm definitely waiting for the next model year before I put a down payment on one of these.

It is a new model and new models sometimes have minor issues (especially GM)I am willing to cut it a break as long as the transmission stay in one piece.

I had an Isuzu Trooper that would freeze up the evaporator in no time flat. Turned out to be a bad expansion valve in the AC system.

Havent had any problems with the hvac freezing. Its been known for months on camaro5 about the loose spoiler. Supposedly there was a bad torque gun/wrench at the factory that caused the problem. I took the nuts off and added locktite.

Relax it's just a TSB. I have never seen a TSB cause this much of a stir on the internet before.

^^ agreed, let's not go off the deep end here. If it was more serious this would be a recall, no? I wouldn't worry too much. Given how hard they've surely been driving it anyways, I'm sure its due for a dealer visit soon.

There have been an awful lot of niggling little problems that have surfaced such as leaking fluids, tons of paint issues, gauge issues, issues with the trunk, ect. There have been some large issues too, such as the production hold on manual SS's and recall that was done for the battery cable.
I’m sure that it will all get worked out with some time but I think that this is a very disappointing launch considering that the year is 2009. Once upon a time, this was to be expected for first year models but that simply isn’t the case today.

I really don't see the big deal here.

At least there are Chevy dealers who can fix this. Thank goodness it's not a Suzuki.
@hondacura4: those of us who live in the lower-middle-class income range have to be very careful with our money. If I'd just spend $30-35k on a new car, and bits were falling off of it, I'd be very, very depressed about continuing to make payments on it for another five years--and very fearful about what happens when the warranty is gone.
If you don't have that problem, congratulations!

No big. It's not like it has killer floor mats.

Okay so this kind of early flurry of GM "service bulletins" has been going on with General Motors' new models for more than thirty years now. If GM exists in any form in the future it'll still be occurring thirty years from now...and fifty, a hundred et cetera and so on....
It's a FACKT!
