2009 Ford Flex: The White Knight to our Dark Knight

white flex.jpg

ford-flex-length-555.jpg

I caught this "angeled out" Ford Flex at Galpin Lincoln/Mercury/Jaguar/Aston Martin last week. Judging by its plate, it was customized by Galpin Auto Sports, aka GAS, aka the garage that used to do Pimp My Ride.

So, which one would you go for? Are you a Harvey Dent sort or a Batman sort? White Knight or Dark Knight? Angel or devil? Oreo cookie or Oreo cream?

I'll do the white, easier to clean, wax and detail.

The white rims can go though, I'll take the regular aluminum alloy wheels.

Ingot Silver with a white roof and the 2010's 20" wheels. Normally I hate gigantic wheels like that but that's the sharpest color combo I've seen on a Flex yet.

Neither, I like the burgundy.

Honestly, I usually hate when people take a car that is attractive and put a pair of crappy rims on it, and overtint the windows, but I'm going to have to go for the White One.

Dark Knight. Definitely.

White minus the rims.

I'm taking that Aston beside the white flex you suckas.

I'll take the black one, because it doesn't have wheels that look like they came out of a My Little Pony catalog. Who buys this stuff?

Umm... isn't 'Oreo' racist?

The white rims are a joke. I can't decide which is worse: the color, the size or the spoke design.

I actually like the hearse look. But I'd take burgundy with a white roof, too.

In the absence of any shade of green, Dark Ink Blue.

Saw a red flex Limited with the white roof in Phoenix and it was sharp. The guy driving it though was taking on his cell. Man it drives me nuts when I see someone's ear pasted to a cell when the car they're in has Bluetooth. I saw a woman today driving a new Mercedes SUV and I know it has Bluetooth. But she was jabbering away on her damned cell driving with one hand. Annoying. Sorry got off topic for a sec. The Flex looks best with the two-tone roof/body combos. Solid colors don't work IMO.

Dark Night or a Flaming red hearse from hell would be my choices.

the white minus the wheels... for some reason the white looks really sharp.

I don't care for those white wheels at all. But I do prefer the painted grille better than the original chrome.

dougtheeng says:

burgundy with a white roof, or even one of the blues with a white roof. Its a great looking car in most colors, I find.

tshoe says:

I have been seeing more of these on the road lately and they are looking just ok to me, my wife on the other hand...not a fan of the boxy hearse look.
I like the after market looking white GAS version because it is different with the rims and grill. I usually prefer a black color vehicle over white any other day though.

"Umm... isn't 'Oreo' racist?"

Better call Nabisco and let them know!

All black.
With flames.

Oreo is racist when your refering to a person but this sentance clearly is refering to which part of the oreo a person prefers the creamey center or the cookie part.

Anyways white for me all the way

I am waiting for someone to chop the roof off a Flex after the b-pillar and make it look like a truck.

I must admit i have liked the LT Ford Flex ever since it came on board with you guys... the black with the black roof has given the car a sort of bada#s appeal which i have liked... that does not change here

wickedxwar says:

I think it looks rather Range Rover-ish

southphillyman says:

@wickedxwar yea i thought it was a range rover at first glance. because of that i'd go with the white one lol
