Just returned from Alaska - had a Malibu LT 4cyl rental and covered about 1K with it. We were pretty impressed with the car and thought the 4 / trans combo was pretty livable. Silent at idle and quiet while cruising too.

I bought my Mazda 6 in December 2008, and it only has 5500 miles. I like the car, but the sound of the steering wheel is killing me. The dealer didnt know what to do.
