Chillax: The activity done by a car in an LAX (Los Angeles International airport) parking lot while the driver is away on a business trip.
Usage: Our 2008 BMW 135i is chillaxing for a few days while Dan is in Europe.
Who needs Urban Dictionary when you've got this?
Dan Edmunds, DIrector of Vehicle Testing @ How should I know; I'm 8 times zones away? miles.

Well, I certainly hope it isn't chillaxing as it is in the picture taking up 2-3 spots.

Couldn't someone from the office have given you a ride, so they could use the car while you're gone?

@sellaturcica: +1
Seems like a waste.

I wonder how scratched the bumper will be when you get back?

Why didn't you use this time to bring it in for service?
Nice "Bruno" pose, btw...

Agree..seems like a waste of long term test car. And aren't you guys due to give up this car any day now?

The back end of the 135i reminds me of a car from the distant past. Oh yeah, a 1994 Hyundai Elantra. Am I just seeing things?

You guys have WAY too many cars if you can allow an office favorite to sit in an airport parking ot for the better part of a week.
Dan's never heard of a taxi or car service?

If you guys are taking up 2 spots with your small coupe for several days, I kind of hope someone keys your car (you'd have it coming).

IL has 30 cars. Several of them get posted on very infrequently, if at all. Yet somehow you feel compelled to post that you have parked a BMW at the airport? WTF? What's next; posts when the M3's go to the car wash?

This could be a lead-in to the reason behind Dan's European "business" trip, or a test to see if you can indeed double park at LAX w/out getting keyed.
Had a friend try this and ended up not getting keyed, but getting parked in.

Chillax? Really Dan? Please Dan, don't help your kids destroy the English language. That is awful.

"IL has 30 cars. Several of them get posted on very infrequently, if at all. Yet somehow you feel compelled to post that you have parked a BMW at the airport? WTF? What's next; posts when the M3's go to the car wash?" Quoted for truth. I like this car, but don't see the point in this update.

"ZOMGWTF, he's taking up 2 spaces!!!1"
Yeah, because the LAX parking lots have rolling hills and trees in the background:

1) Mad_Science is right: The photo was not taken at LAX. It's in a single space at Wally Park, an off-airport lot where door dings go to die: http://www.wallypark.com/LAX/laxBenefits.html
2) WP will change your oil, detail your car or even fix or replace a windshield while you're away. You can get service while you are on a business trip.
3) You can't get a ride home from a co-worker if you arrive after working hours and live 50 miles from the airport.
4) The BMW 135i is one of a few IL cars that is ahead of its mileage target.
5) They can't all be suspension walkarounds.
