I don't usually use cargo nets (unless the chasmal space of a trunk requires me to if I want to keep my eggs intact and my berries from scattering), mostly because the inevitable fumbling to find the net's opening makes me feel like an amateur vaudevillian looking for the split in the stage curtain.
But behold! Our Suzuki SX4's cargo net has a handy pull-tab to make opening it a snap. Hurray for simple design improvements that make life easier. I also like that the net's at the back of the cargo area, keeping it conveniently out of the way when not in use, rather than closer to the hatch opening. No more catching stroller handles on the net as you drag it out of the cargo area.
And, a follow-up side note on the SX4's audio system display issue I mentioned a while back: Commentor steve196, I've tried holding down the "DISP" button to get song titles et al. to scroll, and it hasn't worked for me. Could be that I'm just lame, but I've tried a few different times to no avail. Can anyone else attest to this working for them and prove that I am, in fact, lame?

In regards to our Suzuki SX4's audio system, I tried all variations and did not get it to scroll text. -- Brent

I think the pull tab is pretty common these days. As for mounting it in the back, that would only be practical for very shallow trunks. Can you imagine if it were mounted in the back of the '09 Jetta's trunk? You'd have to crawl in to get to it.

First of all, Bryn, you aren't lame, but your head unit might not offer this feature, and I only know about this feature as it pertains to CDs with enabled text. I never activated my sat radio service, so it may be that it doesn't work with that. I have a 2008 Touring with the 6-disc changer, and what I described before works when you have a text-enabled disc in the player. Also, when you push the disp. button down, it takes about 2 seconds before it beeps at you and scrolls through whatever optional info screen you have chosen (Track Title, Artist, Album Title, or Off). Hope that helps...

I have a 2009 without a 6-disc changer, and the display works just like steve196 says.
Different people may think of different things when they think of text scrolling. To me, "scrolling" means that the characters move from right to left (or left to right) across a display when there are too many characters to appear in the display at one time. The SX4 doesn't do that; instead, it cycles through a new 12-character screen every time I press and hold the DISP button.
With an album with a very long title (The Strange Underworld of the Tall Poppies, by the Pearlfishers) the screens were:
The Strange
Underworld O
Of The Tall
Poppies
When it chopped off the end of a word, as in the second screen, it restarted the word on the next screen.
