Every time I see our long-term 2009 Mazda 6 I'm struck by its lovely red paint. I'm not typically a huge fan of red cars, but there's something about this shade that really appeals to me.
This morning I pulled the monroney from the 6's file to check the name of the paint color.
Sangria Red.
Well, no wonder I like it.

Same goes for me with the Color White.
It seems like few cars can actually pull it off. But, few cars like the Jetta look spectacular in white.

Its better then the red in the previous Mazda6....that bright red was cartoony and awful.

I remember reading a news article a few years ago saying that the new trend in automotive color names was food colors. Sounds like Mazda got that memo. I agree, the 6's shade of red is beautiful. I just like colorful cars in general. The sea of black, white, gray, and silver is just lame and boring. I wish people still had imaginations, still cared about their car being interesting rather than an unfortunate appliance.

Yes, but would you like it better than:
Nearbeer Yellow?
Irish Coffee White?
Tequila Green?
Whiskey Gold?
Vodka Blue?
Everclear Silver?
