2009 Honda Fit Sport:

Small-item-trays.jpg

Maybe it's a male thing, but I love it when this happens. Check out the harmony between my Costanza wallet and cell phone and the Fit's small-items trays. Doesn't it make you feel good just looking at it? It's like Honda designed those trays for my small items. And since I remove both of them from my pockets every time I drive a car, I find these little guys exceptionally accommodating.

These are the perfect trays: Exactly the right depth to handle these items without them falling out or flopping around.

They should have put 2 cubbyholes under the handbrake for drinks. And a burger holster on the handbrake.

I'm not sure if it's a guy thing, or a neat nick thing, but Honda definitely does nooks and crannies well. I, for one, like to take my wallet and phone out of my pockets and put then into the cars various vestibules.

The Miata, of all cars, actually has a lot of little storage areas.

BTW... I think it's time for a new wallet.

How many sugar packets can fit in that wallet, George?

Hah, that is really cool. Perfect "Fit!" ..... I'm such a dork. It is about time you post something about the Fit. The SX4 has been stealing the limelight.

"The SX4 has been stealing the limelight."--Um, it's car of the week. If you remember the Fit was car of the week previously. Besides, they're too busy flipping the SX4's seats.

Ahh, the wallet. Something women don't understand. I remember when we were newly married, the wife presented me with what she called, 'A cute Wallet'. I just couldn't use it, it had no pockets for cards, no ID area, no place for me to keep my business cards. After trying to use it for few days, I went back to my old trusted but battered wallet. This resulted in gallons of tears & accusations of 'not loving' etc. Finally, I sat down & explained why the wallet she gave me was too small for me.

Even after all these years, she still remember it. Sigh.

I don't think either my phone or my wallet would fit in those spaces - maybe its the photo, but they look too narrow. That style of flip phone (razor or whatever the new verison of it is called) is quite narrow I believe. Still, I'm sure i could find something to put in those spaces.

Is that a carbon fiber wallet? That's killer... where did you get it?
