A couple of concerns for a long trip in a car:
1) Snacks/Water
2) Music
3) Comfortable seats
Surprisingly, the snug race style seats in the MR are very comfortable for me over the long haul. I found that the bolstering and support for my thighs/sides helped keep my butt from taking all the weight of my body into the seat cushion, slowly compressing the padding and making the seat uncomfortable.
After driving 400 miles, my legs and back were fresh. Thumbs up!

Those seats are the best seats ever. I absolutely love them.
Many a girl has sat in them and always go. These seats are so comfortable! Other than the fact they attack my crotch when I fist get in them!

Mmmm...I drove this car for two weeks and the seats are TEH ROCKZORZ. A bit low though for visibility; feels like I'm sitting on the road instead of in the car.

I was personally amazed by how much better these seats are than the ones in the GT-R.

I know what you mean about visibility. I'm 5'6 and it's barely comfortable. Most everything is blocked by some awesome pillar/wing.
My 5'2 friend tried to drive the evo. He was NOT happy. He couldn't see anything. He drives a 135 and is much happier.

As an Evo owner at 5'8" and a 32" waist it's about the right height to be to fit in the seats and still see out. It also helps to be used to sitting way low in a car unlike the whole "Command seating" trend that afflicts so many modern cars.
I find it funny that people are always surprised that well bolstered seats are good for long trips. Having raced a bit, I always found that my race seat was the most comfortable seat that I owned mainly because it was the most supportive.

This is such a stellar car - seats are just one reason. Jacobs has great taste.

+1 on the long distance comfort. I'm 6'2" and about 240 lbs and did a 900 mile round trip recently in my GSR. Outside of the slight aural annoyance, I can't recall getting out of a car feeling physically fresher in recent memory after such a long trip.
Never would have thought it possible with only a recline adjustment available. Made my G35 seats seem rather bleh.
