Not wanting to delve too deeply into bathroom humor (I don't want to sully my squeaky clean reputation) I'll keep this brief and free of gory detail.
The Evo GSR sharted on my washing machine.
Note the standard sized washing machine and the non-standard sized shart left by a cold and cranky GSR. I'd put the distance from the tailpipe to the washer at around three feet. And no, I'm not going to clean it off.

Good thing it was a washing machine (not a person)

The rear fascia of my MS3 becomes covered with soot after just a couple of days at the track. Some people probably think that it's a diesel...

My Suburban diesel does that on startup too - sprays an oily soot out the exhaust pipe which is hard to get off. Since it's a side exit exhaust, it would spray this black soot all over my Z06 parked next to it in my garage. Solution: now I place a piece of plywood propped up against the rear fender of my Z06 so the soot gets sprayed on the plywood, and not the Z06.
I didn't think a gas engine like the GSR's would spray that much soot out on startup too. With a diesel, you can kind of understand. But a gas engine, I'm kind of surprised. Maybe it's oil from the turbo?

Not a good sign...

It is not a bad sign, just a dirty running engine, it is typical for modded cars like that. My 02' R34 GTR did the same thing, and it was 100% stock! Japan have much lower emission standard then the U.S.

Rich mixtures leave a sooty exhaust. Water vapor condenses in the exhaust when the car is parked, and the mixture is ready to be blasted out on the next cold startup.

Are you backing into an enclosed parking space? Stop doing that right now. Your garage is almost certainly not vented for that, even if Evo ink-blots are interting and informative.

No, it's not oil. It seems that almost all the Japanese turbo motors run rich- especially the DI ones.

Sure it was stock? Mines heavily modified but it doesn't have that problem. I haven't noticed it anyway.

You find me a car with 20K miles and clean exhaust tips and I'll show you oceanfront property in Nebraska.

Uh, I bet the Honda Civic GX's exhaust tip is squeeky clean with more than 20k miles. :) Now where is my Nebraskan oceanfront property??

So that's what a carbon footprint looks like.

D'oh! You got me there. Uh, hold on. Let me grab the deed. *unsuspiciously exits the room with a can of exhaust dust and paintbrush*
