2009 Ford Flex: Oil Change Required

2009-Ford-Flex.jpg

With just over 17,000 miles on the odometer, our 2009 Ford Flex Limited is requesting an oil change.

Edmunds' Maintenance Guide estimates we should pay $28.74 in parts (oil and filter) and $63.00 labor for the LOF and tire rotation in our Santa Monica zip code.

We'll see what our local dealer has to say.

adavis-

well, to be fair, there aren't 30 people driving yours either... and you probably didn't take it to oregon...

Haven't heard much from the Flex lately, I had forgotten about it. Speaking of which, where are the Fit and the G8?

What does LOF stand for?

LOF = Lube/Oil/Filter

$92 for an oil change and tire rotation??

That same service would be $60 here in Southeastern, PA.

Better yet, do the oil change yourself for $25 and get the tires rotated for $20 at a tire shop or something. Walmart sells Motorcraft filters AND Motorcraft 5W20 oil.
