This morning I woke up especially early for no particular reason so I decided I to just go to work. I hate time change, it's like jet lag while staying home.
I don't know if it was due to the X5's massive engine or that people weren't caffeinated just yet, but I every time I punched the gas from a traffic light I left my fellow commuters in my dust trail by massive margins.
The X5 is nice to your ego.

Uh... maybe it's because your fellow commuters weren't "punching the gas"? Just maybe...
Next time call me up and I'll punch the gas with you.

Love that feeling. Looking in your mirrors and being suprised at how far away everyone is. First happened to me when I started riding.

Common feeling for drivers that pay neither for the car or gas! (just envious, I guess)

Hopefully, it's not a literal dust trail being emitted from the X5! Have a nice holiday weekend, Scott!

I like to lag behind my fellow commuters. I'm just as alone as I'd be if I were way up front, except this way I get much better fuel economy than any of them.
I catch up to them at the next red light, anyway.
I guess my next car should be a BMW, then.

I know those times...you just want to get in the car and go. I love living near some twisty roads, they're always good for the spirit.....except in january-march.
