One aspect I really like about our 2008 Mitsubishi Lancer Evo X is how the taillights look mean. As if they're saying, "Back off" or really, in the Evo's case, "Don't even think about it." Anyway with Halloween in mind, the rear also reminds me of this...

Let's see...
What happened to the "other cars" in the fleet? Oh, just to name a few: Edge, Enclave, CTS, C300, Focus, Accord, CX-9...

I think you should run your own autoblog louiswei, because you have a lot of ideas and opinions that you want to share.

By the way, thanks for the advertising opportunity.

Didnt the Cobalt SS just rip this car (and many others) to shreds in another publication?

That has to be a joke. What was it, a trunk space comparo?

No, really, it did. I promise.
From Car and Driver:
"The little Cobalt SS was one of the big surprises at this year's Lightning Lap. Not only did the newly turbo-powered compact dominate the entry-level LL1 class, it was quicker than many of the more expensive LL2 rides as well". They also said that the SS "hurtles forward with anger not present in much of the LL2 group". Hondaacura4, the SS didn't rip the MR at all, but it did rip several others.
Lap times and horsepower ratings:
Chevy Cobalt SS: 260/3:13.0 seconds
Lancer Evo MR: 291/3:13.3 seconds
BMW 135i: 300/3:13.7 seconds
Lexus IS F: 416/3:14.0 seconds
Audi S5: 354/3:14.6 seconds
Honda S2000 CR: 237/3:15.0 seconds
Challenger SRT8: 425/3:16.6 seconds
Lotus Elise SC: 218/3:16.6 seconds
Infiniti G37: 330/3:17.5 seconds
Subaru STI: 305/3:19.0 seconds
The Honda Civic Mugen SI, VW R32, Dodge Caliber SRT8, and Volvo C30 T5 Version 2.0 were all six seconds or slower than the Chevy, and they all cost more. The BMW, as tested, cost TWENTY GRAND MORE than the Cobalt SS. Least impressive of all, to me at least, is the Lexus IS F. At $37,000 more than the SS, it was slower around the course despite having over 150 MORE horsepower than the SS. The MB C63 AMG, which is virtually identical to the IS F in weight and horsepower, was one of the only 8 cars in the 22 car comparo to beat the SS. The IS F is fast in a straight line, but fails at the track.
The only other cars to beat the SS were the CTS-v, M3, Z51 Corvette, GT-R, F430 Scudiera, Viper ACR, and the Mosler MT900s. During "Sector 5" of the course (a "challenging combination and important to turning in a quick lap"), the Chevy had a faster exit speed through the turn than the C63 AMG and the CTS-v.
Unfortunately for Chevy, the only thing that even comes close to touching the SS now in terms of its price class is the Mazdaspeed3, which still has plenty of power and a nice interior. Chevy needs to give the Cobalt SS new sheet metal and a new interior...the current one is garbage. Fix these two things, and I'd actually take it over the Speed3.

P.S. I hope insideline has gotten the hint now that we want to see a long term SS join the fleet. And a new Mazda6.

Wow. You guys notice the funniest things ever. But you're definitely right. It's a pumpkin face. It just makes me wonder if Mitsubishi somehow planned this. Hmmm..

Yes, enough Evo madness and super car swashbuckling.
