I took a few days off last week and my car of choice was the Mercedes C300. It's attractive, comfortable, drives smoothly and likes my iPod. It's my go-to car whenever I have some free time. It's perfect for my height (5'4") and also accommodates my taller passengers.
Only problem: Ever since our C300's camping trip in the dust bowl, it's been oozing dust from every seam.
So, once again, it made a trip to the car wash. Lucky for us, our local car wash has a great little gift shop attached to it. We never mind waiting around for a car to get a bath.

That appears to be the cleanest car wash in history.
However, as Mr. Jacobs has pointed out, what the car really needs is a detailing -- and a very fine one at that. Has this been done yet, or just conventional washes? (At an admittedly unconventionally clean car wash)?

Ever sense I had seat time behind my best friends 2005 C230 Kompressor and my uncles 1999 C43 AMG Ive grown to really like and respect the brand.
Mercedes products dont really tickle my enthusiast side but there is just that certain feel only a Mercedes can deliver. Its hard to explain. I guess it stems from the overall craftsmanship as these cars are ROCK SOLID!
Im certainly not suggesting that other brands dont make solid cars but when youre in a Mercedes the craftsmanship and that feeling of tactile luxury is clearly evident.

I'm with misterfusion -- get that car detailed pronto! I'm also going to reiterate my position that enthusiasts don't take their cars to car washes -- they wash their cars themselves. It is not that hard, does not take much time and saves money and gas. The best benefit is you get to know your car that much better.
These multiple car washes at the local yokel are not going to get all the dust out.

I think this is the best looking MB sedan in a while.
