We've passed the 10,000 mile mark on our Hyundai Veracruz.
Some thoughts on this large crossover SUV:
drives like a minivan
seats are comfortable
easy to get in and out
good visibility in all directions
A/C works quickly and no longer hums
no AUX port
nice power liftgate in a car this price
gulps gas

No license plate yet? Long time with a temp sticker isn't it?

Those wonky taillights together with the odd seam where the rear bumper cap meets the body make for an unappealing rump.

My 02' Sonata is creeping up to 105k miles, and still runs great, but this post illustrates one of my classic beefs with this company: for all the great product they're making, it's like they're eternally three or four years behind the norm in in-vehicle electronics.
This vehicle should have launched with Bluetooth, a Nav option, and iPod connectivity as at least an option.
Instead, this otherwise-good vehicle is stuck in the past. Not even having an Aux port is a huge misfire. Inexcusable considering Korea's status as an electronics juggernaut these days. Korea is home to Samsung, LG, and a host of other strong tech companies, as well as one of the world's leading suppliers of computer components.
But when the dust clears, no iPod connectivity in Hyundai's top SUV. Unbelievable. Hyundai's making excellent vehicles, but this tech gap they live in is a continued sour spot.

They have navi now, with BT and all that junk.

BT is imperfect though. I don't think hyundai will get proper BT integrated with NAV until their microsoft sync-competitor is out. But yes, we've got great ipod/usb stick connections along with nav now. They're catching up!
