2007 Ford Edge: On Crack

A sorta artsy picture of the Ford Edge at Griffith Park

Oops, did I say the Ford Edge was on crack? I meant, the Ford Edge has a crack in its windshield. My mistake. Anyway, while driving along the La Cienega Quasi-Highway toward the airport Friday, I heard a sharp impact and then looked over to see this crack (photo below is actual size) in the left center portion of the windshield...

I'm not sure what caused it.

Elsewhere, I took the Edge up to L.A.'s Griffith Park. Later I drove it home. My visiting mother also thought it was rather big. I've already griped plenty about this car, so let's just leave it at that.

Fix it quick, before the crack grows!

Go get one of those windshield repair kits from Kragen/Autozone/Pep Boys. Something like $10.

I picked up several glass repair kits (syringe/suction thing) at Harbor Freight for around $2 ea

that type of crack is perfect to get repaired.

By this time, if they didn't get it fixed it'll be unfixable.

Mike or Mike, did the throttle body and throttle position sensor get replaced under warranty yet?
