2007 Jeep Wrangler: What the Funk?

I got into the Jeep last Thursday and was hit by a dense cloud of musty funk. The stench was choking. I fumbled for the center mounted window switches and not finding them in time I had to just open the door and bail out.

I've held back pointing the finger at a fellow editor...
Perhaps one of them has a hygiene problem, left a stray gym bag in the back seats, or some nasty socks were dropped in there after a ten mile run? It's an embarrassing finger to point at a coworker so I thought a little discreet research would do the trick.

After looking through the blogs I found the cause: the Jeep had been caught in the rain and the seats got soaked, then the Jeep had been dormant for two nights before I drove it. Residual funk!

Some fresh, dry air should do the trick. Hopefully.
