2007 Honda Fit Sport: Not finished yet

Our Long-Term Honda Fit is beyond its year in service. In light of recent events, however, we've decided to extend this test.

So continue tuning in. The Fit's still go...

Sounds good. I'm considering shopping for a new small car to replace my old Focus (excellent car, just getting old with 120,000 miles on it and I feel like the car would start giving me problems anytime). I wouldn't mind downsizing if the car's good...like this Fit, the upcoming Ford small car, etc. So it's nice to learn more about this model.

Good idea. How long are you extending it for?

I wonder if Edmunds could sell the LT fleet to readers. At least the cars would be cared for!

Lol I would think the readers would be more interested in the BMW M3, or the Ferrari for those enthusiasts/purists.

I would never, ever buy an edmunds car. We know they drive them hard - no sunday drivers in this editorial staff.

kevlang, many race car drivers are Sunday drivers. j/k :o)

Sounds fair. How much longer are you guys going to keep the Fit?

BTW, was that picture taken at Sonic in Anaheim?

tlcruz, I asked that question before, but didn't receive a reply (although I mistakenly thought it was in Fullerton instead of Anaheim). It probably is that one as it's the only one in Southern California.

Cared for cars?!!! Haven't you seen the number of prangs they get into? They haven't met a parking buttress or a kerb that they haven't liked! How they manage to tear apart interiors - the Miata they had had scratches on the windshield pillars. On the inside! The ignition key areas look like dart boards.
I could go on! But I already have!

Suby, I've been to that one a few times, as I lived about 20/25 minutes away. Now I don't even have one near me PERIOD (Moved from CA to PA)! Boy, Do I miss it! I could have breakfast in the car with my pup! He enjoys car rides, especially for food. lol

And it's not hard to mistake it for Fullerton. They're all in the same area. No mark-downs for you, Suby :p

I, too, miss Sonic. But I can understand the reasoning for them not building one here. A bit too cold for carhopping 8 months out of the year.

It will definitely be interesting to see how the Fit progresses from here on out, I'm glad to see it stay.

And to echo tlcruz Suby, I've lived in Anaheim all my life, and if you'd asked me about that Sonic, I would've said it's in Fullerton. Gotta love SoCal's complete lack of definition between cities.

As an owner of a 2008 Fit Sport with 13,000 kms, I wonder if you can address the front spoiler and the attraction it seems to have with pavement. Three times I have brushed against something harder than plastic. Looking at a good time for repairs at this point.

Also, why not add some performance bits to the car. Give us something to shoot for in the after market area.

I love this car, a real blast to drive and live with overall.
