2005 Ford GT: What's Your Sign?

I was just driving through North Hollywood in the Long-Term Ford GT and spotted a rather bizarre sign. Something like this in the back of a Motor Trend magazine (right next to the Cialis ads) doesn't surprise me, but a 5' x 8' sign posted on the side of a BBQ Teriyaki restaurant? I'm not sure who is more frightening, the person who placed the sign or the person who calls the number on the sign? You can't see the phone number in this shot, but if you're really looking for this kind of guidance just head over to Lankershim and Cahuenga and look around...

As usual traffic was pretty nasty getting around L.A., even in mid-day, but the GT slogged through the stop-and-go conditions without complaint. In terms of driving difficulty I continue to describe Ford's GT as "a Mustang with bad rear visibility." In other words, if you can drive a $25,000 Mustang GT with a manual transmission, you can drive this car. Yeah, the GT's tougher to park, but if you're trying to learn how to pick up girls...

Who needs to call that number when you're rolling in a Ford GT?

I saw you heading out on Friday in the Ford GT and I was reminded how really freaking cool that car looks on the road, even in stop and go traffic.

I think the car completes the sign. Want to pick up girls? Buy a sports car. Haha. Really, though, I do really like this car, and I'm glad to see its worked out pretty well so far.

Me too. I must say I thought Ford was going to really ruin it, but it seems they really did a great job designing and engineering this car. I've heard few gripes and even fewer trips to the dealership for repairs.

I'd never think I'd say this, but way to go Ford.
