Our 2007 Hyundai Azera is finishing up its stint in our long-term fleet. We've had some tangles with a hard-to-clean leather seat and a fallen-apart mirror but for the most part we've had warm thoughts about this car. A lot of us were surprised by its lux features "for a Hyundai" -- seat heaters , refined door jambs , steering wheel-mounted audio controls , and a wood-accented interior -- and how comfortable it was to drive. While others felt like there were some quality issues that still needed to be addressed...

Oh, I know you'll miss the Azera. I decided to test drive one a few months ago, due to the wonderful things you had to say about it on these blogs. When I test drove it, I was so impressed that I bought one for myself. I also chose the Limited trim level. The adaptive transmission now shifts in accordance with my driving habits, so it feels like the car was made just for me. I got a black one with black leather interior. What cars are you thinking about getting next?

See 'ya later, Azera! I've been reading the blogs on the Azera since you first got it. The Azera just happens to be our next vehicle. Adding to a 2007 Honda Accord V6, 2000 Toyota Camry (Soon to be my first car), a 1994 Acura Integra, and soon to be a 2007 or 2008 Hyundai Azera Limited Ultimate. I can't wait. My parents have always taught me to look at Edmunds' website for information on cars...and that's what I've always done. My mom still doesn't believe that Hyundai actually makes a great car these days, but when one is in the garage, her idea will change. Thank you, Edmunds, for helping change he perspective of some of America.

I am 20 and test drove an Azera and really liked it, like way more then I thought. And if it had the black leather interior which looks amazing, i probably would have said screw the hyundai stigma and bought it! Very nice car!

Great to see you got one and tested it out over time. Maybe an 09 Genesis will be in your future. Too bad you didn't have the black interior, it is the one to pick.

langlebl, ten to one they get a new Honda Accord as their next full-size car, Dodge Grand Caravan for their minivan, and a Malibu to replace their camry. Might get a new Sequoia to replace their Tahoe, but I doubt it, with the Tundra already in their garage.

I think they ought to try an '08 Taurus next--gotta have a big barge in there somewhere!

Y'all keep saying goodbye to cars in the fleet, however the RAV4 has been MIA now for months. What happened to it??

Great point, fandsw. The same thing happened to the Sonata last year, but no one mentioned that it's time was almost up. The final wrap-up just appeared out of no where. Sometimes I wonder if the cars get totalled and no one wants to say anything about it. I hope not, but it sure is strange that the posts just stop.

I think when the posts stop it pretty much means the car is done, though it'd be nice to have a wrap up blog post like this one here. With the Azera I feel like it's been such a short time.
If memory serves there are quite a few LT cars that are being released, among them the SRX, Compass, RAV4 and the Fit.
