Once in a while my back likes to play tricks on me and stops bending. That's one of the reasons I like seat heaters so much.
All this week when I woke up in the morning, my back has been nice and inflexible. But the 5-level seat heaters in the Azera really help...
I wish my desk chair had seat heaters. And my couch. And my kitchen chairs. And...

Does the azera allow you to select heat on only one part of the seat -bottom or back? I rode in a friends Escalade, and it allowed for more fine tuning of the heat.

No, with the Azera it's all or nothing. But you do get 5 heat settings.
Our Cadillac SRX gave us a choice. You could choose to heat just the back or back and seat cushion.

The seat heaters are awesome! I have the heated seats in my Azera, and they've been great lately, because it's been 45 degrees and below all week! The Azera's heats up quickly too. By the time I'm out of the parking garage at work, the car is already blowing heat. I usually let it idle for a moment before I get going, though. I hope your back gets better, Donna.

The power lumbar adjustment on the driver's seat helps me, too. And, I use the power tilt/telescope steering wheel to get me in a comfortable seating position, which still allows me good steering control. But, you are right, when your back is hurting a little, that seat heater can really help.

Ive had knee/feet issues for about 3 years and Im only 30. Both my feet and knees were a little slow to react especially on colder mornings and that initial ache wasnt at all enjoyable. My wife suggested that I go to Walgreens and buy a natrual suppliment. Flax, Fish & Borage oil. I started taking them and within say...a months time I have NO knee or feet problems currently. The fish oil lubricates the joints and eliminates the stiffness. Im not sure of the reasons your back is stiff/achey but you may want to try the pills as they worked for me. Hope this helps.
