This weekend I actually used our Silverado as a truck, not just a car with a big open trunk on the back. I needed a new bathtub and now I have one. BTW, here's a free household tip, don't use bathtub resurfacing services. You'll just end up buying a new one anyway but then you're out the $175 you paid to make the old one look pretty. It's going to look real pretty in the landfill now...
Anyway, tubs are heavy. Still, this is barely scratching the surface of the Chevy's capability. At just a little over five feet long, the bathtub fit perfectly.
If I had to drive a truck everyday, this is the one I'd pick.

One question;
How did you guys go from 18,201 miles to 21, 267 miles in 3 days ?
I noticed the numbers you post seem off sometimes.
Was it a mistake, or did somehow, you guys actually drive 3,000 miles in 3 days?

The 18,000 was wrong. It really has 21,000 miles on it. I just gassed it up.

Wow;
that's weird.
Because the last blog entry about this truck, the one with the "No Parking" title, was written by you.
But I believe you, I guess everyone just makes mistakes.

Good call carfreak, didnt really notice that.
Is a factory spray in bedliner optional? Because I think all trucks, including this Silverado should have one if you're going to actually use the bed.

Should have went with a fiberglass tub - nice and light, and doesn't feel as cold when you step in it.
