It's lonely being exotic. And such is the life of a 23 year old Italian sports car. This is how our 1984 Ferrari 308 spent its weekend. Apparently everyone on staff needed a car that was more comfortable or more reliable or more convenient or more spacious or more practical this weekend...
Sometimes, even the life of the party can't find a drinking buddy.

That's heartbreaking. If you need I'll come down and drive the car on the weekends.

this reminds me of a Volvo advertisement. I should add that it is lonely if you are an old exotic. Your Ford GT does not seem to suffer the same loneliness...

Don't leave it in that parking garage! It's too beautiful to get hit!

What would be sad is a mini van or old Accord, Camry, Malibu, or Impala (the kind of recent rental car fame) in such a picture. They would be just more mass-produced blah in a blah environment. The beauty of that old Ferrari is that it is strikingly gorgeous on the road, parked at a scenic overlook, or just sitting in a parking garage. I've been in love with Ferraris ever since I was a kid. I think this old beauty can take a little solitude. In style and presence, Ferraris always stand alone--even in a crowd.
