For some reason I can never get the power-adjustable seat in our 2007 Nissan Altima situated to where I feel comfortable. I can adjust the height, how close I want to be to the steering wheel and even lumbar pressure but I still can't get comfy. As it is, I feel like I'm sitting in a high chair on top of the driver seat when I driving. Not because of the height of the chair but the feeling of detachment I experience...
This car is fast but it's hard to feel comfortable moving quickly through traffic when you don't feel connected to the car.

Reminds me of my 1970 Olds, where I could move the wheel a couple degrees in either direction before the car started turning. That was not a fun car to drive in traffic, winding roads, tight spaces, etc. Feeling detached from the steering is very not good.

For me, the problem is always the steering wheel with relation to the pedals. I like to lean back a bit and have a comfortable reach for the wheel. I also like to cush up on the pedals (if I can't floor it without having to tippytoe, I'm too far back).

I had to read the title twice to make sure you were talking about the Altima and not the Camry. I thought everyone felt the Altima was really connected and had great steering?? Caroline, were you driving around in the Farrari again before jumping into the Altima?
