One thing I noticed as I was driving the 2007 Nissan Altima around this weekend was the fact that its side mirrors offer less real estate than those of other vehicles I've recently driven. The Aura, for example, has side mirrors that appear to be a bit wider. Not a big deal, obviously. But in case it is, well, now you know...
Maybe I've just been driving too many SUVs. As I pulled into a space in our parking structure this morning, I noticed I was next to our long-term Mitsubishi Outlander. I couldn't resist taking the photo shown above, which shows the difference between that compact SUV's humongazoid mirror (on the left) and the Altima's.
