2007 Ford Edge: Packing a Punch

There had been some complaints about the Edge’s cargo space as compared to other crossovers in its’ class. Modeled somewhat after Nissan’s Murano, the Edge doesn’t have quite the same capacity with its’ 69.6 cubic feet of maximum cargo capacity.
However, in my experiences with the Edge it’s sufficiently roomy and a great car for lugging cargo. I spent yesterday stocking up on home goods and had no problem fitting them all into the roomy trunk area while still being able to see out the back of my car. Despite all the heavy boxes the Edge didn’t feel weighted down or overburdened and I got everything home with ease.

Its amazing that the Edge only packs 69.9 cu ft of cargo space when the Xb packs the same utility in a significantly smaller package. Ford needs to become more efficient with its interior packaging. Alot of Edge competitors offer way more space in similar sized vehicles.

Looks like you bought enough to survive 6 months of flooding and alien invasions...
