This morning I climbed into our Chevy Silverado, adjusted the rearview mirror, and began my commute to work. A few minutes later a very calm voice said "OnStar emergency how may I help you?" The OnStar emergency call button on the Silverado is located on the bottom-right of the rearview mirror; unfortunately this is also where my thumb lands when I adjust the mirror. I don't know where the emergency call button is on other GM vehicles but if it is on the rear view mirror I wonder how many accidental calls they get as a result.
