2007 Nissan Versa SL: Get up and Go

I spent a fair amount in our long-term Nissan Versa last night. I used to not really care for the Versa, and while I suppose familiarity typically breeds contempt, I'm happy that it's quite the opposite in the Versa. I like the high-revving peppy little engine, and the shifter and I have become fast friends. It's not wildly powerful like my lover the Infiniti G35 Sport, but it's, dare I say, zippy?..

It scoots in and out of traffic and cruises very comfortably at 70 in freeway traffic. And I like the Venn diagram-like gauge cluster.

I still don't care for the seats that don't fold flat, but I'm pretty sure Nissan's target demo doesn't typically need to carry a full-size keyboard, a couple mic stands, and an amp. (For the record, they all fit without a prob.)

Why are the HVAC controls huddled together as if they're terrified of the edges of the centre stack?

prndlol -- To give you space to mount your cell phone and I-pod holders of course...or maybe a hook for a trash bag...or band stickers...or air fresheners...or stick a compass...or your CB mic...or stick reminder notes.
