Last night I had occasion to visit the lot at 20th Century Fox Studios. I was attending a taping of a new sitcom, "Back to You." I particularly enjoyed that when I pulled onto the lot, the security guard, quite earnestly, said, "Take a left at Star Wars and park in front of the Simpsons." As you can see, the directions were spot-on.
It's a thrill to be on a movie studio lot, and there are no shortage of fine cars everywhere. But the Outlander's sharp style turned heads, and its fold-down tailgate inspired curiosity and at least one "Hey, what a great idea." One guy slammed on the brakes of his golf cart, yanking it down from its 4 mph top speed to a dead stop, just to take a look at the Outlander...

Maybe they thought it was the new "Canyonero"...
Seriously, it's a nice looking car. I get compliments on mine too.

Thanks for the funny blog entry, Doug!
The Outlander and the Canyonero don't have anything on "The Homer!"
