2007 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited: Getting the Door Handles

Jeep Wrangler Exterior Door Handle

The door handles on our 2007 Jeep Wrangler are a mixed bag. Not so wild about the ones on the SUV's exterior. Instead of a handle that opens the door in one fluid movement, we get a big button. A big fat button that you have to press with your thumb...
My thumb hasn't lodged a formal complaint or anything, but I can tell it doesn't appreciate the extra workload.

Jeep Wrangler Interior Door Handle

On the other hand, I love the Wrangler's interior door handles. They're perfectly grabbable. And there's a massive disc that locks and unlocks the door. Since this disc is large enough to merit its own solar system, it's easy to access and use.

I Test drove a Nitro a few months ago and actually really liked it except for the exterior door handles, which are the same...not a fan of pressing a big button with my thumb..
