Even though I did not drive the Ferrari this weekend, I couldn't resist posting this photo.
I had an east-coast friend in town who wanted to do the Hollywood thing. So we cruised Sunset and Hollywood Boulevards and spotted this famous star on the Walk of Fame.
Sorry for the uneven lighting...

Use of fill-flash helps to reduce/eliminate shadows in these kinds of situations.

Is this a photography blog or Stars from the 80's blog?

I think the human shadows just add to the effect for something like this. It suggests anonymous masses gazing down onto the famous.
Great shot!

Don't read it if you don't like it. I love it that these guys are having fun with their new old car purchase. If I bought that Ferrari, I'd be puting ads in the newspaper looking for my Higgans.

Yeah, no harm done, but I had my 328 out today for a drive and the Magnum connection is pretty distant now.

Is anyone driving this car? It seems the posts are getting less and less, then a TV show blog post appears. I signed up here just to follow and comment on this particular story due to curiosity as I also own an older sports car, 1976 Porsche 911 Turbo. I've always liked this Ferrari model and was excited to read about it here.
Looking forward to more serious blog posts about the car. Please no more Tom Selleck comments.

The car has been sitting in the garage quite a bit. It's pretty much day-to-day -- not quite on the DL (disabled list). It was gone when I left the office last night though. :o)

I saw an old Ferrari on the movie The Pursuit of Happyness (latest Will Smith movie) last night. Anyone know specifically what is was? I'm guessing a 308, but I'm not enough of a Ferraristi to know for sure.

We're taking the Ferrari to the test track, results coming soon.
We're also working on a sound clip and should have something in a few days. --Donna

I saw the 308 in the garage when I left tonight. I assume it survived track testing! :o)

estreka: Yes, there was a 308 in The Pursuit of Happyness. Careful about calling it "old" -- the guys with the 275 GTBs, California Spyders and Daytonas have the real old ones. ;)
