I was supposed to drive up to San Francisco this weekend but for various reasons that didn't work out. I had requested the Cadillac SRX for the road trip for its comfort and because I prefer GM's navigation systems.
Well, I stayed local with the Caddy, so I made a trip to The Wine House in West LA to stock up on some essentials. It's an hour drive back to my place in the blaring sun so I was glad to see the Cadillac has a cover that pulls across the cargo area...
I didn't want a repeat of the exploding Prosecco bottle that I had in the Chevy Tahoe. I also had a rare bottle of vintage wine that needed to be kept at a cool temperature. A combination of the Cadillac's air conditioner and cargo cover got my precious cargo home safely.

Don't most SUVs have this? I remember that my Ford Escape rental last year had this feature, and so did my 2003 Nissan Pathfinder rental.
This feature should be standard on all SUVs and wagons.

It is slowly disappearing as a standard feature. The Edmunds LT Edge is conspicuously missing one.
