I'm not much of a fan of the Nissan Versa, but for a subcompact, I like the fact that it has keyless ignition. It's kind of a fancy feature not typically found in low-end cars. I recently drove the brand-new BMW 535i and was impressed by its simple keyless lock/unlock; place your hand in the handle to unlock it and then touch the outside of the handle to lock it. Now that's keyless...
Then I discovered this handy little button on the trunk.
Press and hold it, and voila. The car locks, and you get that confirming little flash of the rear lights. Give Nissan credit for this one. Not bad for a car that's 17K out the door. The Bimmer's $50K.

What does the BMW system do that the Nissan system doesn't? Just curious because I have Intelligent Key on my Sentra.

Rasldasl: You're quite right. One of my co-workers pointed out that it's the same. I have since revised my post.
