Chevrolet Silverado LT: Too Much Truck for Me

I just got out of the Silverado - it's clear that this is just too much truck for me. I used it to drop off a gas powered Yard Vac, then my kids played in the bed. Their jumping up and down is about the most heavy duty use I'd get out of a full size truck. I just don't tow stuff or haul bricks or whatever...

Still, if I had to get a big truck like this the Silverado is the one I'd pick. I like the F-150 too but the lower priced Ford trucks seem to have a plasticky interior by comparison. The Silverado's seats are also more comfortable than the F-150's.

You're right. It might be too much truck for you... But I am glad you didn't say it's too much truck. I have had a truck for several years now, almost continuous since I got my license. Except for a few months when I was stuck in my wanna be sports car (2.2 turbocharged CHRYSLER Laser), I have always had a truck.

I don't think I could ever do with out it. Granted its only a small truck, and a big full size truck like the Silverado would probably be more than I need, but I will always have a truck in my driveway. It just becomes to useful a tool to not have. Kind of like having a broom or a plunger. You just always need one.

Nice to here bigal. I hate the complaining on the forums about how nobody really needs one just because they personally don't. Tell that to the 18 foot boat in my driveway, and the camper beside it.

and for what it's worth, life would be so much simpler for me if I could have one of these babies to do my dirtywork. But I sadly made due without any truck.
