2007 Audi 4.2 Premium: Can haul a horse

Although we ordered our Audi Q7 with the big 4.2-liter V8 and tow package the truck has yet to do any real hauling. That is until this past weekend. Rusty tricycle, weird toddler vehicle with aquatic animals glued to it and a musical rocking horse. The Audi swallowed all three whole, allowing me to make the run to the donation station a one run affair...

Had I been stuck in our now departed Miata, who knows what would have happened? That's right, three trips.

By the way, penance for this lame blog entry was having to listen to that darn horse play the muzac version of  "Camptown Races" the entire trip.

Ah, a catchy jingle indeed...

Eh, what's the big deal? Unless that Q7 is REALLY huge and making those toys seem small in comparison, I'm fairly certain my 2005 Prius could fit that stuff easily as well. And get 3-4x the gas mileage. I still think very few people truly have a use for a huge towing SUV.

Say that again, but this time in the manner of Chandler from Friends...
