In fact, I failed to prefigure one additional piece of furniture. Fortunately, I found the fold-down 60/40 second-row fabulous for accommodating the four-foot-long windfall.
Furthermore, even with the 40 bit folded, the FJ facilitated the use of my child seat. Fantastic.

Avalanche, Avalanche, Avalanche.. (subconscious getting anything yet?). Would've fit nicely in the Silverado long-termer too. But it's good to see that folks owning this particular vehicle can get by with no sweat too. ;-)

Bah. I've carried similar IKEA loads in an xB.

So, four flat boxes fit in the back of a $30k SUV. Wow.
There has to be something more insightful and interesting to write about in these weblogs.

that xb probably has more cargo room than the FJ.

Nope, the xB has 43.4 cu ft vs the FJ's 66.7, and the FJ could at least lug that load uphill, LOL. I have owned both and there is no comparision between them. The xB was an econobox and it was as cheap feeling as its price would lead one to believe. I traded it after four months of trying to hunt down all of its rattles and sqeaks and of trying to coax it to 65 mph on the freeway.
Yes, these weblogs are pretty weak, but I am just pleased (and amazed) that someone is actually writing something positive about the FJ.

Are you serious? The FJ has tons of fans. And what's up with the criticism of the weblogs? I think the edmunds.com folks do a great job of getting their thoughts on the cars down. This is the day to day stuff that isn't captured in Road Test and comparo evals, and I find the small comments here insightful. If these weblogs are so weak, why continue reading them?

I think it's "okay" for the most part, alpha01. As you may have seen, folks have said worse things on these blogs. Maybe they just had a swig of some Haterade yesterday or a case of the Mondays.
