In the midst of a ninth inning rally by the Dodgers, our 3-month free trial subscription to SIRIUS satellite radio expired. We called SIRIUS and spent $142.45 to reactivate our radio. That bought us a 1-year subscription plus another promotional 3-months.
By the time our radio was back in business the game was over. The Dodgers lost, but they're still in first place...

Was the A/C vent/grille fixed or replaced under warranty, Mike?

For those of you wondering about XM, I just do the 12.95 p/month plan, which thanks to my trusty computer calculator adds up to $155.40. XM's year plan is $142.25 with only one month free. I should probably get that, eh?
I pay an additional $6.95 p/month for my Samsung Helix portable XM player. This is XM's family plan price, which meant I didn't have to pay an activation charge.

$142.45 is a fair price for static-free baseball.
...and those other few hundred channels for the off-season. May I suggest 118, Radio Classics.
(PS: Go, Red Sox)

I agree that it's worth the price for out-of-market baseball. As for the Post Script, I disagree. Go Blue Jays. May your team be befallen with injuries as well.

Tough break losing Roy, jriz. He's a helluva competitor, I'm always a little nervous when he comes to town.
