When I jumped in the Silverado last night for my short ride home its odometer read 11100. When I got home it read 11111. Weird, but kinda cool.

I miss anolog odometers especially the kind that only had 5 digits. When you buy cars the way I do you got a new car (or truck in my case) according to the odometer at 100,000 miles. I have photos of my old 1989 ramcharger with no miles! When it gets to 200,000 miles I can relive the experiance again of having a brand new truck. At least the odometer says so! Ah that new truck smell. You just don't get that with todays digital odometers.

That's a nice short commute for LA, isn't it? Seems like most people I know out there go over 30 miles each way.
