Our photography team tracked the Skyline with the Silverado as their guide. It braved torrential rains outside of Phoenix, AZ. It crept amongst blankets of coastal fog in Monterey, CA. It even kept the meandering team focused when the GT-R led them to the wine country of Napa, CA.
Not even a caffeine-fueled, 1-day/1,000-mile stretch of driving could faze the Chevy or its occupants. On its way to adding 3,500 miles to the odometer, the truck earned itself a unique distinction amongst our long-term fleet. No, it didn't join the GCFARTC. It's the only to have seen Laguna Seca Raceway, Infineon (a.k.a. Sears Point) Raceway and California Speedway.
Oh, and somewhere between a Pop-Tart breakfast and a trail mix lunch the change oil warning appeared. Our team couldn't schedule a service appointment in the middle of the hunt, so we postponed it until the truck returned. How about that for an excuse?

Not to be a tool, I think "phase" should be spelled "faze".

I agree. Faze is the word.

So did ya take the Silverado on each of those tracks? Or did it just see them from the parking lot?
Sounds like a close call on obtaining GCFARTC membership.

Has anyone had experience carrying a motorcycle in the bed of a new crew cab Silverado? I have a Triumph Bonneville and it looks like it would fit nicely diagonally with the tail gate up, but I'm not sure.
